14 ft Feet 1956 Yellow Jacket

This boat was my father's gift to himself after he graduated from Notre Dame. We used to take this boat to New Hampshire every year until we moved to CO in 1972. Since then it has only been in the water a handful of times and the last time was in 1988. 1956 Mahogany panel boat and 1956 Mastercraft trailer. This boat has always been garaged. It has not been in the water or towed since 1988. This boat will need a full refinish/restore before being sea worthy. Yellow Jacket boats were crafted in Dennison, TX. The motor is a 1956 Mercury 55 (40 hp). It has also not been started since 1988. My father and I last had this boat in the water and it ran beautifully at that time, although there was a slight leak in the transom. Be the next owner of this beautiful collector boat. You will need to flatbed this boat and trailer, The trailer has not had maintenance since 1988 and I would imagine the wheel bearings will need to be cleaned and repacked. The rubber on the tires is at least 35 years old. I have the original sale paperwork from when my father bought the boat new. The boat is located in Colorado Springs 1956 Mahogany panel boat and 1956 Mastercraft trailer. This boat has always been garaged. It has not been in the water or towed since 1988. 15 Feet 1959 Custom Pacific Surfrider

1959 Antique Boat with Fins and Brake Lights! - $8,990 (Portland) Classic Antique Wooden 1959 Pacific Surfrider with red fins like an old Sunbeam with functioning LED brake lights (they are always on). A true rare find, this boat receives “nice boat! & thumbs ups!” all day long (and usually a comment such as: “My Dad had a …..”). She was made in Salem Oregon in 1959 and spent her life in a garage in and on Detroit Lake. The bottom was just completely restored last year. She has a near new 2018 40 HP Suzuki motor (w/ auto trim from throttle) with very few (verifiable) hours on it. She was out of the water for nearly the last two years for restoration. I am verifiably the third owner as I have the sales receipts (framed) for the two sales. It comes with the original trailer, steering wheel and a new depth finder (and much more). The upholstery was just redone, a custom-made maroon canvas cover that covers the fins to a tee and keeps 100% of the water out when covered. and the bottom is painted red like a pair of Louboutin Shoes. She got a new plywood bottom using west system epoxy along with fiberglass. This is a no soak boat that doesn't leak a drop. Along with the new bottom, bottom paint, side paint and 4 additional coats of varnish on the bright work, she has a new outer keel, new outer stem, and most of the inner stem was also replaced. All the new wood has been coated in Smith's penetrating epoxy and then coated with a minimum of 3 coats of varnish over the top. The transom has been beefed up to carry the weight of the engine. Also, the engine was totally gone through and serviced this last spring. Serious inquiries only (and request drone action videos). $8,990.00 (the new motor and the restoration cost me more than that!). You may have just found a new friend… She is fun…

19 Feet 1949 Chris Craft Racing Runabout

In 1948 Chris Craft introduced their 19 Foot Racing Runabout. The boats were built to go fast and had larger engines which produced more speed. The boat was a hit and Chris Craft made a total of 503 of them during the time from 1948 through to 1954. This is a beautiful Chris Craft Racing Runabout - Hull # 229. I have owned the boat since May of 2007. Since obtaining the boat I have had a 5200 Bottom put on the boat by a well known restorer. This boat was purchased from a boat broker in Minnesota, delivered to Idaho and underwent a professional keel-up restoration from Retro Natique in Bear Lake, Idaho over the course of several years. She was used extensively in Jackson Lake and Palisades Lake near Jackson Hole, Wyoming until being moved to Newport Beach, California in 2015. The boat was originally equipped with a KBL 131 HP triple carburetors which is the reason for the chrome bubble on the hatches. The broker in Minnesota re-powered the boat with a Chevy 350. In July of 2019, a new Chevy 350 motor was ordered from JEGS in Columbus, Ohio and shipped to California where is was modified for marine use and professionally installed. The Chevy motor is new, dependable and easy to get parts for. She has been shown at the Lake Arrowhead boat show as well as the Balboa Yacht Club Wooden Boat Festival and always turns heads and attracts a big crowd. She has been stored on a trailer and always covered. The boat comes with all of the lines/ropes, life vests, paddles, and “boat gear” and is a “turn key” boat.In 1948 Chris Craft introduced their 19 foot Racing Runabout and made a total of 503 by the time they stopped production in 1954. This Racing Runabout is Hull # 229. I purchased the boat from Mitch Lapointe in 2007 and had the boat professionally restored - keel up restoration using the finest materials. in 2019 the boat received a brand new Chevy 350 from JEGGS of Columbus, Ohio that was installed by one of the boat mechanics recommended by Antique Boat America. In addition to the new motor, the bottom was professionally re-painted in 2019. The boat has been featured in several boat shows turn heads everywhere. Wicked is a "turn-key" boat and comes with all of the lines, life vests, paddles, and necessary boat gear so you can use the boat immediately and make new and lasting memories.

19 Feet 1945 Gar Wood Commander

“We Three” has been a fixture on Long Lake in the Adirondacks since she was delivered to the original owner, WA Raney in April 1946. After the passing of Mr. Raney, his daughter sold the Gar Wood to Dr. and Mrs. Shelly in April 1996 and she remains on Long Lake to this day. She won numerous boat shows from South Carolina and North Carolina. The Clayton Boat show, is where she won Best preserved, Best Gar Wood and a few “Best of show”. This Gar Wood is about as original as any boat one can find other than some of the upholstery which was really beginning to show some wear. All the wood on her, including her bottom, is original. One might wonder when looking at her due to the lighter “sapwood” which is found on her forward port side, but that is exactly how she came from the factory. She was built to go to the 1946 New York Boat Show, but that show, due to the war, never became a reality and she was then taken to Hearn’s Dept. Store as a boat to use for sales. She was the only Gar Wood of her kind built and primarily for that show. Mr. Ranney had taken his daughter to Hearns to purchase clothing and saw this particular boat, inquired about purchasing one like it and was told “he should consider purchasing this boat due to rumors that the company would or might be closing in the near future. He purchased her on the spot. Mr. Raney purchased the boat right off the floor from the Dept. Store in January of 1946.

17 Feet 1962 Century Resorter

This boat has been meticulously restored to as close to original or better condition as possible. From stem to stern, bottom to top deck inside and out no detail has been overlooked. A new 5200 double bottom using 1/16 Marine plywood 7/16 African mahogany. White oak was used to replace transom bow, main and sub frames s stem, gripe, keel and battens. All hull material was replaced with book matched African mahogany 1/2” planks. Sandusky Century stain was used on hall mahogany. At least 15 coats of Epifanes varnish was applied. Every piece of lumber that was replaced on this boat was treated with Smith’s clear penetrating epoxy sealant where appropriate. Three coats of bilge paint were applied. CPES was applied to bottom mahogany. That was followed with Interlux 2000E bottom epoxy primer. This one-owner boat was purchased at Reiman's Marine in Conneaut Lake, PA in 1962. It was stored for the last time in 1979 and sat for close to 30 years. The boat was a candidate for restoration. The motor was completely frozen which required a complete overhaul. Boat power is 352 cu.in. Interceptor V-8 with 240 HP. Everything in and on this motor has either been replaced or rebuilt. The Velvet Drive transmission has been totally overhauled. All drivetrain components are new, including shaft, log, shaft, and connecting parts from H&H Smith in Algonac, MI. Gauges were sent to Mark Clawson. He cleaned, re-calibrated, and/or rebuilt every Stewart-Warner gauge. There are less than three hours on the hour gauge since the restoration. The interior is completely new with premium marine grade vinyl, and foam was used in the restoration. Nautolex material was used to replace the flooring. All chrome pieces were at Qual-Krom in Erie, PA. Stainless components were polished by Bruce Dale in Hubbard, OH. This is now a better than factory new. It is a turnkey boat waiting for a new owner.

16 Feet 1891 J.H. Rushton "Saranac"

J. H. Rushton’s “Saranac Laker” or “Adirondack or Saranac Lake Boat”, as seen in Rushton’s Rowboats and Canoes, The 1903 Catalog in Perspective, published by the Adirondack Museum and International Marine Publishing, is one of the most-desired of guideboats, both by amateurs and by connoisseurs. Rushton’s shop in Canton, New York, built guideboats from 1888 to 1916, and his design went through three phases. This boat derives from the second period, 1891-92, when he hired a second Saranac Lake builder, Alric Moody, to oversee guideboat construction, a method very different from what Rushton’s craftsmen were used to. Few of Rushton’s earliest guideboats are known today. They had plank seats and square gunwales. They also had typical guideboat decks, let into the gunwales, with pie-slice covering boards, as does this boat. This boat’s caned bow and stern seats, and presumed caned seat-backs, mark it as being of the second period. The far more common boats of the third period, 1893 and later, have strip decks like those of Rushton’s Pleasure rowboats and rounded, or D-shaped, outwales.* So this is a very rare Rushton guideboat. It came down in a family that owned an extremely rustic camp, reached by water only, on South Pond, a particularly beautiful pond near the southern end of Long Lake. It was restored 20 years ago by Long Lake boatbuilder Mason Smith, father of Reuben Smith of Tumblehome Boatshop. Now it is for sale by the original owner’s family. Rushton’s boats in general are highly valued as antiques and as working boats. This boat is missing its original caned seat-backs, single-blade paddle, and yoke. (These accessories can be reproduced.) The price of $13,800 takes that into account as well as some non-original wood in its fabric. At 118 years of age it still calls for vigorous use and is decorative beyond words.

16 ft Feet 1960 Buehler Turbocraft

I finished the 13-year restoration of my1960 Buehler Turbocraft Jet 32, 16 ft Jet Boat in July 2022. I had undertaken the task of restoring this hull using modern materials and power. The goal was to maintain as much visual originality as possible with select upgrades. In 2010, I started out gang busters gutting the hull and laying the groundwork to reinforce the hull with 24/10 fiberglass cloth and West’s epoxy. The boat is built entirely of Corecell below the floor (stringers, bulkheads, transom) and ¾” marine plywood encased in epoxy and cloth for the floor. This project continued for 13 years as time, money and energy dictated. I got very serious in 2019 with the goal of finishing by the 2022 Boat Show Season. Original chrome was replated, aluminum and SS brightwork was rejuvenated. Original seat patterns were copied and color matched as close as possible, and the paint color replicated using one part polyurethane paint. The engine is a 1995 Ford 351W Marine engine removed from a very low hour pristine boat that was damaged. I installed SS impellers in the original Indiana Gear Works 3 stage pump housing during the complete rebuild. The gate assembly was powder coated white and the hydraulic cylinder rebuilt. A modern hydraulic pump is used to move the shift gate. I made the boat wire looms for the boat also. Many more details you’d have to talk to me about or see. Boat sits on a new Load Rite Aluminum I Beam trailer. You also get all the spare parts I have from salvaging 3 Buehlers. A must-see Award Winner. Since completion: Best Craftsmanship by Owner at Finger Lakes Chapter ACBS 2022; Best Non-Wood at Adirondack Chapter ACBS in Lake George 2022 and 1st Place Fiberglass Classic Runabout at the 47th Annual Portage Lakes Antique & Classic Boat Show 2023. I have decided to sell this boat as I have 6 other Classic boats and I feel this is the one I will use the least. Anyone that has restored a boat knows how expensive it is. I am giving up thousands of dollars in hard cash and the freebie is all my labor. The only thing I paid to have someone else do is the paint and upholstery. I did the rest of the restoration. Tough to let go but this boat needs to be seen and used. I have extensive pictures of the restoration for a serious buyer.

15'6 Feet 1958 Lyman Outboard

The culmination of a 3-year restoration project, my 1958 Lyman is picture-perfect and ready to make your summer memorable. This beauty is a rare, 15'6 runabout with numerous upgrades and a 1962 Evinrude Big Twin 40HP Outboard in as pristine condition as the day she came home from the factory. The keel and all structural parts are made from clear white oak, the planking material is made from 3/8" Clinker-built fir that is overlapped at the joints so that it is twice as strong as straked hulls. The decks, rails, stern and all of the interior wood is made from Philippine Mahogany. All of the hull fasteners used were specifically built for the Lyman Co. out of silicon cut bronze clout nails that were deeply embedded and reversed clinched. The literature from the day proudly declared, and is still evident 65 years later, that the fasteners never need to be tightened! In fact one of the reasons these hulls are so durable, strong, and safe is that there are approximately 2000 clout nails and more than 850 screws used in planking alone. What makes this Lyman different than any new boat is that it will never be worth any less than what you pay for it as long as it is properly cared for. Boat Details: We tried to keep as much of the original patina as possible while still breathing new life into her with multiple layers of high-end topside primer and paint as well as exterior/interior varnish. She was carefully stripped and sanded by hand. All of the hardware on the boat is period correct and for the most part, nickel-plated brass, including the anchor guides, bow base cleat, and the stern cleats. The Perko bow light has the original late 1950s port and starboard glass lenses, as well as a hole for a flag pole. Stainless steel full length rub rails have been installed on the gunwale and stern spray rails. One of her more unique features is her 1940s Chris Craft split speedster windscreen frame and glass. All of the wiring has been replaced and upgraded to modern standards using high quality marine-grade BlueSea fuse panels, copper wiring, and period correct switch gear. Extra capacity has been added in case the next user intends to install a modern marine radio and\or USB charger. The stern has been pre-wired for a stern light if desired. A second new battery has been added for redundancy along with an NOS A/B switch, a new bilge pump, and a new (unused) in-hull transducer (depth finder) Engine Details: The motor is a 1962 Evinrude Big Twin 40HP. These motors are renowned for their simplicity and reliability. The motor is in perfect running order and looks amazing on the inside and out. The motor was repainted with the original, authentic Evinrude polychromatic blue. The carb, ignition (points\condensers) have recently been rebuilt. The fuel lines and electrical wiring have been replaced as needed. The lower unit oil was replaced when the impeller (water pump) was replaced. When the lower unit was apart, the gear case was inspected and there was minimal to no wear. The compression for the upper and lower cylinders is 95 and 99 respectively. The current and previous owner have always run the motor with AVG (leaded high octane aviation fuel) since the mid 1980s therefore it is likely that this motor has never seen any ethanol fuel! That said this motor will safely run on unleaded fuel but like any modern small motor. Trailer Details: Trailer has been rebuilt from the ground up and re-configured for a wooden outboard boat. There are 3 rollers on the keel including directly under the transom that hold the weight of the boat. The side rails of the trailer have been covered with slick plastic sliders that balance the boat and make it easy to load and unload the trailer. A new Fulton trailer tongue, folding trailer bracket, and spare tire bracket have also been added. This allows the boat to be stored in a standard length residential garage. All of the fasteners on the trailer have been replaced including the u-bolts. The wiring, lights, heavy duty 7-pin coupler, safety chains, winch chain, rear tie-downs, and tires are all new. The trailer is over-built and therefore will protect the boat while its being transported. The trailer was originally configured for a heavy inboard powered runabout which certainly shows. Other Information: All of the accessories that you will need also come with the boat, including a custom made cover with wooden ribs, life preservers, floating cushions, new floating emergency kit (including flares and first aid), beautiful oak oars, two anchors, new docking bumpers, 2 floating keys, and enough new line for 2 boats. Delivery options available.

26 Feet 1968 Chris Craft Cutlass Cavalier

We purchased the boat in September, 2015 and have been using it each summer since then. The information we received from the seller indicates that it was originally delivered in 1968 to Minnetonka Boat Works in Wayzata, MN. The records indicate that the engine is a 327 with 210 horsepower. The seller also claimed that work exceeding $18,000 had been done, but there were no details about that work. A previous owner removed the original cuddy, but as you can see from the pictures, it does not look chopped up. Essentially, he created a large open boat for day cruising, which is exactly how we have enjoyed it for the last several years. We have it on a lift in Lake Minnetonka in the summer and it is stored indoors in the winter. We invested in a complete strip down to the wood and repaint of the lap strake sides and a stain and varnish refinishing of the transom (although the transom finish is starting to weather). We also had the carb and starter rebuilt and a new fuel pump installed. The engine runs well and it cruises along pretty well when it gets up on plane. There is no speedometer so I can't tell you how fast it goes. It holds 10-12 comfortably as it has a 10-ft beam. It handles waves extremely well, including running through wake-surf boat wakes at speed. The trailer was purchased in 2016 and has been used sparingly. The boat appears to be structurally sound in general. The bottom is ok but could probably use some caulking and sealing in places, particularly where it meets the transom. There are a couple of floor and/or floor support pieces that could be replaced where the wood is starting to deteriorate, but we use it as-is now with no immediate problems. Some cushion covers are ripped, but useable (filling is not falling out). The engine runs really well. If it sits more than a few days, it usually requires priming some gas directly into the carb, but after ignition it runs fine and will re-start without issue. We have used the boat every year including this summer.

20' 6" Feet 1910 Chestnut Canoe Launch

THE LAUNCH • 1910 Chestnut Canoe Launch • St. Lawrence 2 hp, one cylinder engine, Brockville, Ontario • Purchased by Roy Simpson, Carols grandfather, from Mr. Stevens, an executive of the Dennis Canadian Lumber Company in Whitney, Ontario in about 1919. • The launch carried three generations of the Simpson family across the waters of her home, Long Lake, near Whitney, Ontario first generation from 1919 to 1942. • During World War II, Simpson family vacations in Whitney were put on hold. • Second generation of the Simpson family, Geary Simpson, Carols father started camping in Whitney, Ontario and using the launch in 1952, Carol Simpson was 6 years old. • The Launch was stored in a boat house on the river with a hoist to take her up out of the water at the end of the summer. After the war, a higher dam was built across the river, and this raised the level of the water so much that it covered The Launch. Carols’ father and grandfather rescued The Launch from the bottom of the Madawaska River in Whitney, Ontario. With a lot of time and love for The Launch she was brought back to life. Luckily, the ca. 1910 engine was still in production at the St. Lawrence Engine Company in Brockville, Ontario. In 1955 The Launch was back on the lake for the first time since its submersion in the boathouse. • Due to the difficulty of moving The Launch from the basement of the Simpsons cabin The Launch was put in storage in 1961 while Carols’ father, Geary Simpson pondered alternative ways to launch her. In 1968, Carol’s grandfather died. Her father was making plans to bring The Launch out of storage just shortly before her father passed away in 1982. • Third generation of the life of The Launch started in 1983 with Carol Simpson and her husband Doug Williams traveling to Whitney. They discovered dry rot in the hull and was determined to move the boat out of the damp basement and to look for a knowledgeable restorer. Two years later, after many long hours of repairing and rebuilding and some remanufacturing pieces The Launch was transformed and ready to begin her third life in July of 1985. • “The Launch” fell into the hands of Rick Gardner after the death of Carol Simpson in August 2016.

16 Ft Feet 1957 Crosby

Crosby Capri is a three deck front cockpit steering fiberglass runabout manufactured by Crosby Aeromarine of Grabill, Indiana. This company was one of the early pioneers in the use of this new and controversial construction material. At the time, this synthetic (fiberglass) was relatively new and untested, although fiberglass boat models had made their appearance as early as 1950. Widespread acceptance by the boating community was not gained, however until the mid 1950s when companies began to standardize construction methods. At issue were weight and flotation. While fiberglass was strong, it was also very heavy when layered to achieve the required level of strength. Further, it would not float when swamped so sealed air chambers had to be designed into the hull and/or styrofoam blocks fastened to the seat bottoms as an early solution. In fact this late 1957 model sports a 3 cubic foot air chamber under the front deck which added 200 lbs of additional buoyancy. The wood interior of the Crosby also aided in providing additional flotation through the 1957 model year. A fiberglass interior appeared in 1958 and later models. What set Crosby apart from its competitors was the incorporation of strips of balsa wood laminated between two fiberglass floor layers. The 2 cubic feet of balsa cut into 1 inch square by 6 ft strips added a conservative 105 lbs of additional buoyancy which was twice a buoyant as cork. Additionally the could bend to conform to hull contours, and had great shock absorbing and sound deadening properties. Abner Crosby, the company's founder sold out to Archer-Daniels-Midland in 1958 and went on to found the Hydrodyne Boat Company which produced similar boats. In fact, his quality reputation caused most of the original Mercury 7 astronauts to choose his boats for their personal use. Also, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy ordered a Hydrodyne in 1963 for her family to use in their Cape Cod summer home.

20 Feet 1949 Chris-Craft Custom Runabout

The Chris_Craft 20ft Custom Runabout succeeded the pre-war 19ft Custom Runabout or Barrel Back. Only 369 hulls were produced between 1946 and 1949. This is hull number 334, was built in the final year. It was among the first post-war runabouts to showcase the distinctive blond decking. During their heyday, these boats were known for their luxuriousness, featuring genuine leather upholstery and a sturdy 4-piece folding windshield. The current owner acquired this boat in 2010 and began restoration work in 2011. A new upholstery was installed, while the bottom, although in good condition, underwent sanding, tightening of fasteners, recaulking of seams, and a fresh coat of bottom paint. The boat's bottom swells tightly. Additionally, a new chine plank was added on the starboard side. The topside finish was stripped and meticulously redone with 12 coats of varnish. The bilge was thoroughly cleaned and repainted. The correct Iva Lite spotlight was installed, and all chrome accents were re-chromed, buffed, and reinstalled. All the original factory hardware, including the fold-down windshield, is included with the boat. In 2006, the engine was replaced with a small block 350 V8. The fuel tank and lines were also replaced at that time. In the spring of 2021, routine maintenance was performed, including rebuilding the carburetor, installing a new water pump impeller, fitting new spark plugs, and replacing the throttle cable. In the spring of 2023, the bottom was repainted. The boat comes complete with a custom cover and a custom tandem axle trailer. Due to their rarity, few of these boats remain in existence. With its ideal 20-foot size, the 20' Custom Runabout is a perfect runabout, and this one is ready to be enjoyed!

26 Feet 1956 Chris-Craft Continental

"Twin Spin" is hull #3 out of the 48 26-foot Continentals made by Chris-Craft in 1956 and only 82 of these big utilities ever made by Chris-Craft between 1956 and 1959. "Twin Spin" was originally called "Allegro" by its initial purchaser, Dr. Clayton Stubbs; who was one of the wealthiest residents in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and could afford to purchase one of the first three Chris-Craft Continentals made with many special order items from the factory. The price he paid in 1955 was around $9,000, which equates to the price of an average house, or four new Chevrolet Bel Airs at that time. The boat is mostly original as per the original hull card. Some of the special order items from the factory which make this boat a standout are its full length instrument panel from port to starboard, with glove compartment and door, throttles together on port side of the steering wheel, hatch in the forward deck, amongst a number of other special order items as per the original equipment record from Chris-Craft. They are all are still on the boat today. "Twin Spin" was completely restored in Holland, Michigan around 2006, where the bottom was encased with a West Bottom system along with all the other bright work, engines, etc., being brought up to show standard. The work was commissioned and finished by Grand Craft in Holland, Michigan, one of the leading boat builders of mahogany boats in the USA with a reputation second to none. Since that time the boat has done less than 200 hours and has been kept and cared for as part of my collection. Making this boat even rarer and more sought after are its powerful twin MCL 175hp engines, which make cruising at 30 knots a breeze and achieving 40+ knots with ease as the engines purr in synchronization. The twin engines make docking and maneuvering easy in tight spots - along with making the skipper look like a true professional! "Twin Spin" makes Riva owners envious and is now looking for a new home and custodian to take it into the future.

19 Feet 1964 Thompson Super Lancer

I purchased the boat in 2000 from second owner, completely restored and used often for 10 years nearly every weekend in fresh water lakes, towed to Florida several times to the St Johns River, Tennessee River in Alabama and Mississippi for wooden boat events. The boat is ready to launch now and is fully equipped for pleasure rides, river cruises, fishing and towing. Comfortably carries 4-6 people. I have cared for, maintained and kept stored safely out of the weather when not in use. It is sound and as all lap strake boats it does seep some water until fully swelled but not of any amount that the bilge pump cannot maintain. I upgraded the engine to modern power 1999 4.3 Mercruiser V6 and a new drive when I replaced the rotten transom. The original in line 6 cylinder was great but this boat responds extremely well with the V6 engine. Our reason to sell is we have decided to purchase a different primary boat and this one is primary now so no need for two. 2012 West System 3M 5200 bottom with all new marine plywood and keel cap, new covering boards and decks, strip seal and painted entire hull, stained and varnished all wooden parts, new floor boards and vinyl covering, new hardware, 21 gallon below floor plastic gas tank, depth/fish finder and GPS, Minn Kota remote control trolling motor (24 volt) , new deep cycle batteries, rod holders. 2015 New interior vinyl, modern gauges, dash board, new convertible top, restored trailer, new stereo with Bluetooth, two marine speakers mounted on hideaway hinged board under dash 2019 Replaced interior with black gator and tan vinyl, new sunbrella cover with draw string and snaps for towing 2022 Replaced transom and rear deck, applied 13 coats of varnish, changed furniture to sundeck and bench, new vinyl in rear, improved stringers, installed 1999 V6 4.3L engine, brand SEI new drive, all new gimbal bellows, cables and seals, upgraded engine controls and wiring, added new electric trim tabs, 4 new marine speakers in rear bench seat, thru hull transducer for depth/fish finder and GPS, repainted hull and bottom, new trailer hub bearings, aluminum mag wheels and tires Additional accessories included in asking price All operation and safety gear, mooring lines and fenders, spare prop and hardware, fishing tackle for trolling, portable live well, 4 rods with open face reels

17 Feet 1950 Chris Craft Special Runabout

This boat "Putt Putt"was purchased by me in 1990 and went through an extensive restoration at that time that included a complete new West System Epoxy encapsulated marine plywood bottom to make it lighter and non-soak so it could be trailered easily. The engine was completely rebuilt with new crankshaft, pistons, gaskets, seals, etc and modernized with the addition of a 12 volt electrical system, oil filter, oil pressure safety switch, electric fuel pump. The chrome which is complete was re-chromed professionally the same year. In addition a center mount auto bilge pump was installed. New upholstery and complete new varnish in 2021. Awesome little boat!! We used this boat approx 2-3 weeks a year until about 1995 and then was used very little for the next 26 years but was kept in our garage under cover. In 2021 my daughter wanted to use it as part of her wedding so the varnish was redone (14 coats) and the upholstery was redone and I pulled it 1100 miles to Maine for the 3 weeks we were there. It ran perfectly and is now back in our garage in NC. My estimate is that it has probably has less than 200 hours use since the 1990 restoration. It is a beautiful very functional craft that is great for family activities with the open back which makes it a great watersport boat for skiing, tubing, etc. Carries up to 5 people and I love skiing behind it. The boat came from Lake Lanier in SC originally and I used the boat on Lake Keowee in SC mostly and spent several weeks on Lake Webb in Maine 2 different times. It has always been trailered since I owned it. This boat needs nothing currently except for love and care and routine maintenance. Thank you.

26 Feet 1936 Custom Commuter

1936 26’ Custom Commuter found in a boat house on a canal between Ashland St and Gray Haven Island in Detroit bordering Gross Pointe. It was across the canal from DYC Commodore Gar Wood’s mansion. Both properties are across the Detroit River from the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle. Plenty of boating history in this location. We have the Coast Guard Hull card and the builder’s Coast Guard picture ID. The hull was laid in 1936. Gar Wood made a 1936 26’ Hull in 1935-1936. The hull is very similar to a Gar Wood Hull but the definitive plans were lost. All the bottom, sides and roof structure are original wood including the original the beautiful transom. It is all old growth mahogany. It swells perfectly in 24 hours yearly. The motor is original to the boat and the flat head 8 cylinder runs and powers the boat through the water perfectly. All the inside mahogany is new, the upholstery is new, the cabin top and Headliner is new, all the trim is custom stainless and period fittings are re chromed. 2 new automatic bilge pumps and blower are new for safety. Depth finder and inverter have also been added. All the dash gauges and switches are new and the shifter for the drive is attached to a Velvet Drive for smooth linkage fee operation. A hidden depth finder, stereo and power inverter were added for convenience and enjoyment. The canopy is new sunbrella. This is a one off boat and totally custom. The history of finding the boat and launching it are must reads from articles in the Brass Bell. They will detail the story completely. Under my ownership the boat was always in the water in a covered boathouse on Torch Lake , Michigan and stored on the custom bunk trailer fabricated for maximum hull support in the winters in a new insulated Pole Barn with no supplemental heat. It has been stripped of hardware and varnished every 3 years and professionally winterized with spring service on tune up, fluids and water test trial each year. I own multiple collectible rare boats and this one is the show stopper. Contact with the experienced restorer is available.

13.5 feet Feet 1937 Thompson Bro's Boat Mfg. Co., Peshtigo, WI

This original vintage 1937 Thompson Bro's wooden cedar strip row boat was fully restored by our late father Robert (Bob) Kraemer in May 1986. It is in excellent condition (hardwood oak seats) and ready for the water! The boat comes with a trailer and 1949-1952 (Serial #350385 so it is that year range based on our research) vintage Mercury KF5 Super5 5HP outboard motor. It also comes with fully restored wooden oars, carpet pad for the bottom, classic vintage anchor, and battery operated bow and stern lights. Our father Bob was an avid duck and goose hunter (as well as whitetail and mule deer, turkey, bear, elk hunter and fisherman) and who was a life-long conservationist with an eye and love of the outdoors, which he passed these traditions on to his 4 sons and grandchildren. He was a life-long supporter of Ducks Unlimited and was the editor and publisher of the DU Webfoot News for over 25 years. Our dad was born in 1937 and DU was also first established in 1937 so he purchased this 1937 Thompson Bro's wooden cedar-strip boat as a way to commemorate the year DU was established and year of his birth. He completely restored it by himself in May 1986 (see plate of restoration date with his name and month/year stamped in the rear hull of the boat). The boat has been kept in storage and is in excellent condition (just like it was in May 1986 when he restored it), and is ready for another collector to add this age-old beauty to their collection or continue to use for duck hunting, fishing, or just for enjoying the serenity of a local lake. This Thompson Bro's wooden cedar strip boat and vintage Mercury outboard have many more years to go!

23' Feet 1948 Chris-Craft Express Cruiser

I am selling my rare, 1948 Chris-Craft Express Cruiser with a like new custom made BP Performance trailer due to health reasons. The Cruiser has been in the process of restoration and is almost ready for launch. I've owned this Cruiser for over 20 years and have had a lot of professional work done to her. The 125 hp Chrysler Marine engine ran strong and was professionally pickled. The hull is very sold with fresh calk/paint and the bottom is tight with copper paint. Included with the boat is a snap-on bimini top with side curtains. Extras include back vents, chromed Chris-Craft emblems, and a refinished swim deck with braces, anchors and hanging bumpers. The cowling pad and back seat are brand new. Inside the cabin there is is room for two to sleep on new, unused, custom-made cushions. There is also a cabinet sink with a fresh-water holding tank, fuse box, and additional storage space. The draft is 2 feet, which lets you sit up high while driving for better views on the waterways. The following restorations are still needed: Back vents and back light to be attached. Refinished swim deck with braces to be attached. Needs some calking under chine. Original Chris-Craft emblems to be attached. Needs fresh deck floor paint. Helm could use varnishing. 1 foot curved section of front of keel needs copper paint and as shown. Hose needed from bilge pump to inside exit fixture. Fresh battery. This is a great boat for cruising the lakes and for overnight camping. There's lots of room for others to sit comfortably on the boat to enjoy day trips and seeing the views. Lots of fun to be had with this boat.

18 Feet 1993 Packard Gentleman's Racer

One of only three “Gentleman's Racers” commissioned by the Packard Boat Company to be hand built by upstate NY boat builder John Ford as well as Gary Scherb of Old Time Boats in Florida. The three boats were personally ordered by Bud Finkl, president of the Packard Boat Company and are based off of lengthened plans of the Hacker Speedster 16'. Of the three boats built, this was the president's own personal boat that he kept from new until his passing. This boat is powered by a Chevrolet V6 by specially built by Flagship Marine Engines in Punta Gorda, Florida. The transmission is said to be have been built by the Chevrolet Corvette racing team and was told the running gear was $30,000 the time. Boat is capable of speeds of 40-45 mph and uses hydraulic steering for easy controls. Wood is Honduras mahogany and coated with epoxy sealer with 12-14 coats of varnish and has a beautiful, deep finish. Packard Boat Company of Sarasota, Florida designed and custom built retro-styled powerboats from 1988 to 2002 in very limited numbers and were known for their very high quality and great handling based off of 1920's-30's designs. The Packard Boat Company President, Bud Finkl was a retired engineer, boat racer and a 3rd generation steel worker and his family originally made parts for the Packard Automobile and Boat engines. Per Boats.com “For Bud Finkl, the president and CEO of Packard Boats, classic "gentlemen's runabouts" are something he remembers from his childhood not only because his family had several, but because his father's General Marine Corp. built more than 2000 mahogany runabouts between 1939 and WWII.” Bud Finkl wanted an all wood racer of his youth resulting in this specially commissioned boat with a “2 person seated pilot area in the rear with a forward 2 passenger seat just forward of the midships.” Titled a “1918 Packard,” it was completed in 1993. Bud Finkl showed this boat from NY to Florida and the family said it was only used in fresh water, which is evident by it's excellent condition. After Bud's death, the family kept the boat in their collection for another 13 years. The previous owner acquired directly from the Finkl's family. Boat measures at 18' with a beam of 5', the boat has always been garage kept and never used in salt. The second sister boat, “Pub Decisions” is in Oklahoma while the third boats whereabouts are unknown. Boat includes photos of Bud Finkl personally driving this boat. [Owner is motivated to sell - Any reasonable offer will be considered!]

17 ft Feet 1870 Custom-built Boston Whitehall

"Glory" is a Fancy Boston Whitehall and a replica of The Bailey Boat that is on display in the Mystic Seaport Museum. The design dates back to the 1870's. This boat was referred to as a Fancy Whitehall as her scantlings are reduced to an absolute minimum and her hull lines are drawn extra lean and fine. Whitehalls were known for their breathtaking speed as well as being very seaworthy. This one has three rowing positions for 3 oarsmen or can be rowed using the single sliding seat rig mounted in the middle of the boat. A few years back she was used in the movie "Cannibals" which aired on the History Channel. In that movie, they jury rigged a makeshift sail and had 4 actors in the boat. Some of the photos are taken in calm waters in Oyster Bay L.I. The ones with the jury rig sail are taken off Lloyds Neck on the Long Island Sound with a nice breeze. The boat is built with West system epoxy, 2 layers of fiberglass cloth on the outside 1 layer of 6 oz. cloth on the inside. She has some very special details outlined in a separate list. The hull is all solid red cedar with fluted ash rails and spruce cove strip. Transom & bow seats are spruce to save weight in the ends, the center seats are ash frames with cane centers to save more weight. ( See list for other details ) I worked on this boat for a little over one year as I wanted every detail to be perfect. This is the st boat I've built and it's not easy to part with her. If you're looking for something very speciat, that turns heads, can hold 4 people or just go real fast in any weather this is the boat

20'6" Feet 2016 Conklin Craft Torpedo Runabout

The Building of the boat started in 2006 and was completed it in 2016. The construction is 1/2" mahogany fastened to white oak frames with silicon bronze screws. All wood members including the bottom are sealed with Smiths CPES and assembled with 3M 5200. Don Danenberg's method was used,. all wiring is new with a fuse panel installed. There is a small extinguisher up front and a 10 lb one mounted in the engine compartment with a remote cable. It has a bilge blower and bilge pump and all USCG required safety equipment. The shift lever is mounted on the steering column for easier operation. Both the deck and topside planking is book matched and no corners were cut. This was not a kit but a one off along the lines of the early Chris Crafts. The boat runs a dry bilge and the packing's are drip free. Despite the torpedo hull, maintenance is fairly easy. For example to winterize there are no plugs to pull in order to drain the engine block. There is a installed valving at the seacock to allow the engine to be run on the trailer by means of a hose set up drawing water from a large trash can with a plastic bag liner. when its time to winterize You simply move the hose from the water source to a bucket of 3 gallons of Environmentally safe antifreeze. When it starts coming out the exhaust blue - shut the engine off. Over $40,000 invested in materials alone for boat , not including labor. Engine timing and carb will require adjustment

42 Feet 1955 Chris Craft Commodore

In 1955 Chris Craft manufactured only forty four boats of this Commodore class 42 model. The offered vessel is number # 10 which was registered with USCG in 1955 as the M/V Mercedes. It is believed to be 1 of 3 left in existence. The Mercedes was manufactured in 1955 and delivered to Seattle (Lake Union/Lake Washington) where she has been moored her entire life. Purchased from The first family around 1976 and owned by the same family ever since the Mercedes has been a common site cruising and exploring the San Juan Islands. The boat has had 3 generations on board creating memories that will stand the test of time. This does makes it tough for the family to part with her! The boat has been fresh water stored its entire existence and kept inside a boathouse safe from the elements. Repowered with Perkins Diesels (1900 hours) and lovingly cared for throughout its ownership the boat exudes class and style. From the decks, to the fasteners, to the hull, right down to the vintage refrigerator, no expense was spared in keeping this boat pristine through the years. The boathouse is also for sale. The buyer of the M/V Mercedes gets first right of refusal to purchase the boathouse under a separate agreement. The boathouse is located in Ballard area of Seattle by the locks. Long term moorage lease is also available for the boathouse. Survey just completed with haul out performed 4/2021 with new bottom paint.

13 Feet 1961 Glasspar

18' Feet 1942 Chris Craft Deluxe Utility

This 1942 18’ Chris Craft Deluxe Utility was one of the last peacetime boats delivered; sent to Bennett Boat Company in New York six weeks before Pearl Harbor, and was registered as a 1942 model year. The 18’ Deluxe Utility ran for three model years, from 1940 to 1942 and 408 hulls were built. Less than 10% of the hulls were built with the unique wood frame windshield. I have only been able to document 5 surviving 18’ models with the wood framed windows so this example is somewhat special. This boat went through a complete restoration in 2010 by a well-known classic boat restorer that included a new, no-soak 5200 bottom, a new stainless fuel tank, electrical system changed to 12v, the gauges rebuilt, the decking was replaced, the upholstery was replaced and the interior planking stripped and finished. She is powered by her original “K” engine (95 HP) and transmission as delivered in October of 1941. The engine was rebuilt as part of the 2010 restoration. The unique feature of this model is the ventilating windshield. Most boats have solid windshields to keep you out of the wind, but occasionally it is nice to have a breeze. The front windows push open as much or as little as desired. A snap on top was added at restoration to add shade or keep you dry in a sudden rainfall. In 2019 through 2021 the boat went through a restoration update by another professional restorer in Idaho. Work included building a new transom with new matching wood, stripping and taking all side planking down to bare wood, new wood fit into plank gaps and filled with West System epoxy, all new bronze fasteners, new splash rails, re-stained and finished with 7 coats of varnish plus new bottom paint. I have the restoration documentation. This boat is in excellent condition. She won Best Utility at the 2019 Payette Lake ACBS Boat Show and in 2020 was judged Best Pre-War Chris Craft Utility in the Chris Craft Antique Boat Club virtual boat show. She is complete with a custom waterline cover built in 2021, a restored period brass fire extinguisher and a custom-built dual axel Coastline trailer. In the water on Payette Lake in McCall, ID if additional photos or test is desired. Cold start video is at: https://youtu.be/RGowW9r6qDo An end of season run video on Payette Lake is at: https://youtu.be/Xbwd0NA3Ly0

15 Ft. Feet 1959 Dorsett Eldorado

Complete ground-up restoration completed 2006.

16 Feet 1947 Chris-Craft Rocket

This model is also known in the Chris-Craft record books as a “Special Runabout.” The boat was bought in northern Michigan in the summer of 2016 and was in need of restoration. A complete restoration was conducted over the next three years from 2017-2019. This Rocket is wearing its atomic blue hull paint replicated from the original color. Due to the wood shortages following WWII, as well as the increase in demand of power boats in order for Chris Craft to fill orders, some boats were made from white cedar not mahogany. This model being the only Chris Craft boat made completely out of white cedar, varnishing does not have a similar appearance to mahogany. Leaving a few examples of this model to be painted in the only paint available in the Chris Craft Factory, “atomic blue,” or Chris Craft engine paint. Estimated to be one of 40 hulls originally painted in this color “atomic blue.” This Chris Craft is currently in heated winter storage and available for viewing and testing (weather permitting). Restoration details include: ~New Keel, Port Stringer, Frames 2017-2018 ~Refastened Chines ~Refastened Hull Sides ~New “No Soak” 5200 Bottom ~New Rayco Fuel Tank ~Painted Hull and Deck in Period Correct Chris Craft Blue ~Chrome Replated ~Stainless Trim Polished ~New Upholstery ~New Windshield Glass ~Complete Rewire Rebuilt 1947 Chrysler Ace Marine Engine 92hp 2020 -Estimated 25 hrs. on rebuild -Bored .030 over -New Pistons -Rebuilt Transmission -Rebuilt Carburetor -Rebuilt Fuel Pump -New points, plugs, condenser and coil -New Battery Multiple Les Cheneaux Islands Boat Show Award Winner/ Ready to Show More information available upon request. 27 Feet 1961 Chris-Craft

Chelsea, a 1961, 27-foot Chris-Craft Sea Skiff is a great day boat that you can camp out in with a fully cushioned V-birth. She is a pleasure to drive and with her mahogany transom attracts attention where ever she goes. She can easily carry six for an evening cruise and with her powerful eight-cylinder engine confidently glide over the water at 20 knots. The handsome engine box in the middle of her roomy nine foot by 12-foot aft deck makes a picture perfect platform for cocktail making and a full-on appetizer spread. Chelsea is a rare find and a beautiful example of the Chris-Craft brand of storied workmanship, attention to detail and Great Lakes style. Her timeless design with extra wide seats up front, a cozy cabin and large aft deck with a wide bench seat in the rear has many newer boats sharing Chelsea’s same layout, for example see the Fortier 26 at six times the price. Constructed of 1/2 inch plywood, she is solid bottom with no structural issues whatsoever and powered by a V-8, 300 hp Crusader engine. The hull was painted last year with some touch ups inside. She comes with a lot of equipment including a 5-inch Garmin GPS, dripless stuffing box, dock lines, porta potty, compass, anchor and rode, fenders, complete cushions for her cabin, compass, transom cover, waterproof bimini, plastic side curtains, radio, antenna, 60-gallon gas tank, wooden swim ladder, and more. While she has been meticulously cared for by her present owner of seven years, like many boats of her vintage problems crop up. At end of the 2020 season the lifters began making noise and need to be replaced. This past summer (2020) my wife and I took her on a seven-day cruise from Darien, Connecticut, on Long Island Sound , out to Block Island and back To Sag Harbor before returning home to Western Long Island Sound. She’s got legs. Chelsea is an beautiful example of an early 60s Sea Skiff and after looking all around Long Island and up and down The Sound, I haven't seen another in half as good shape. I’m a private seller and want to see Chelsea go to a good home and considering her lifter problem is priced to sell. If you have questions inquire to the ABA website and give me a call. She is a really great boat and any offer will be considered.

47 Feet 1957 Stephen's Brothers Cruiser

This boat is a 1957 Stephens Flying Bridge Motor Yacht that, at 47’ in length, will very comfortably accommodate 3-4 seafaring friends (or family) in style with separate staterooms fore and midship, each with their own head (one with a nice sized shower). Twin Isuzu Turbocharged Diesel engines provide generous yet economical power for long range cruising, or just puttering around the Florida Keys, courtesy of 2 new aluminum 200 gallon fuel tanks. Two new 100 gallon composite water tanks also feed the new 20 gallon stainless steel hot water tank which is heated by both 110v power or by the engine while underway. The original huge antique spotlight can be seen in the photos on the front of the boat and additional lighting has been added to the aft deck. A 100,000 lumen light bar is mounted in the center of the front 4 foot high custom handrail that extends completely around the deck with very heavy duty mesh netting covering all the panels including the 4 gates which allow for easy entrance and exit from the deck while keeping everybody onboard. Two outrigger poles help land the big ones for dinner. A large assortment of electronics include Sat Nav, long range radar, depth sounder with alerts, auto pilot navigation, hard wired and portable land and sea communications, and more. Shipboard power is supplied by a 3 cylinder Isuzu diesel generator that was running well when last used. However; it has been awhile, it may need new fuel filters and a little coaxing to start up. The anchor system is functional but will need a loose wire traced down to be useable. The flooring still needs to be put down in the salon and aft stateroom. As with any vessel of it’s age it would benefit greatly from some additional woodwork and cosmetics. A recent (2 1/2 months ago) survey by a Lloyd’s of London affiliate found the boat to be in good shape and a copy of that survey is available by request.

38 Feet 1931 Matthews Double Cabin Cruiser

This extraordinary 1931 Matthews 38' double cabin cruiser is ready for summer getaways, and sleeps six. The elegant Dowager is structurally better than new thanks to a 2001 restoration by master boatwrights at Cayuga Wooden Boatworks in Ithaca, NY. Dowager’s interior was restored to its original art deco charm, new systems installed, and the hull was rebuilt from the deck down. The result is a 1931 show boat that looks like it was caught in a time capsule, with modern systems and a safe, strong hull for confident cruising. Dowager’s 1999 - 2001 rebuild/restoration: 132 white oak ribs (all) keel shaft log horn timber stem knee stringers engine beds covering boards transom all planks below waterline some topside planks cedar tongue & groove forward deck planking painted canvas deck covering Silicon bronze fasteners were used throughout All Dowager’s systems are new as of 2002: engine controls electrical panels shore power wiring plumbing heads tanks shower refrigeration propane The 100 hp 1988 Westerbeke diesel engine was cleaned and reinstalled on shock absorbing mounts on new engine beds. The restoration mission was to make the Dowager safe and comfortable with modern amenities but keep it as original as possible. The boat's insured replacement value is $600,000 due to the scope and quality of the restoration. Dowager has original beveled mirrors and bronze hardware. There are cleverly hidden modernizations like the SeaFrost refrigeration system adapted to the original icebox. The shower in the forward head has hot and cold water pressure. Dowager’s hull is extremely fair and true to its lines with no hogging, deformation, loose or proud planking. The interior is in showroom condition with doors and trim well varnished and all other surfaces painted white. There is no cracking or peeling paint. The boat is kept undercover in a boathouse year round, preserving its impeccable condition. This vessel has been meticulously and professionally maintained since its 2001 restoration. Summer of 2016 maintenance included annual bottom paint and varnish (including transom). This boat is for the discerning buyer who wants to own a classic wooden yacht that's been restored to its fullest potential. The Dowager is ready for extended cruising, elegant parties, and charmed days summer.

31.5 Feet 1941 Chris Craft Sedan Cruiser

Rare 1941 Model. Few made as Chris Craft switched to WW2 production the next model year. Cool large crank windows. Extensive rebuild.History of my 1941 Chris Craft Sedan Cruiser (as best I can surmise): I believe it to have been delivered late 1941 because I discovered this inscription under the galley counter when doing some repairs. It was originally purchased by a family in Nashville who used it on the Tennessee River. I had contact with some of the children of the owner who recalled wonderful times on the boat. Subsequently, it was purchased by an attorney in Washington DC, I believe in the 1960s. It was then purchased from his estate in 2011 by a broker who specialized in antique boats. He drove the boat from Columbia Island Marina to Colonial Beach VA with no problems. He kept it in a heated boat shed there with the intention of restoring her. He decided due to his age and resources to sell her. I purchased it from him in 2012. There was some serious repairs required and the broker hooked me up with an experienced restorer and Master Boatwright. He is an excellent job using Philippine mahogany. It took eight months of his exclusive time and $55,000. I visited on numerous occasions and installed new electronics and updated some mechanical and electrical systems. I drove her from Deale MD to Plymouth MA in May of 2013. The boat ran perfectly. Since then I have made continual upgrades and restorations. So, I believe I am the third owner/user of the boat. I have looked extensively and have never found any other surviving boat of this model.

42 Feet 1986 Carver Motor Yacht

A distinctive yacht with her stylish cabin windows, aggressive bridge overhang, and reversed radar arch, the 42 Motor Yacht was Carver's first attempt at the big-boat market...and what a success! She sold very well during her production years and remains popular today in the pre-owned market thanks to a roomy, well-arranged and cavernous floorplan. She's built on a conventional modified-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom. There were two floorplans available...this is the one without a dinette, providing a larger galley and guest head forward, and a larger guest stateroom with a centerline berth. The salon offers a huge feel for a 42-footer and with her wrap around windows offers a panoramic view allowing an abundance of natural light in. While most were built with a lower helm to port, this one was not, allowing more room in the salon for lounging and entertaining. The aft deck offers space for table and chairs, protected with the hard top, while the bridge has enough comfortable seating for six. Her well-arranged engine room has more than adequate space for getting around, and is accessed via fold up steps from the galley area. She's powered by Mercruiser 454-cid gas engines. While no speed demon, she'll cruise comfortably at about 13-15 knots while reaching a top speed of just over 18 knots. The owner cruises this vessel in the fresh waters of the Upper Chesapeake Bay around 20-50 hours every year. While she makes an excellent condo on the water, she hasn't been sitting still like many of her sister ships!

27 Feet 1957 Chris Craft Cruiser

Up for sale is a 27 foot cruiser hull. 1957 or 1958 model by the hull number. I bought this hull to swap over the engine and fittings from another cruiser that I have, as this one was redone and has a no soak bottom. I believe the bottom and sides have a West System finish. There is extra West material included with the boat. The boat sat in our warehouse for about 10 years now, and the sides haven't moved or cracked one bit. Very tight and solid hull. I didn't know that the hull had basically all of its hardware when initially purchased, and for that reason didn't end up swapping my hardware (which is slightly different) from my other hull onto this one. As far as I can tell, everything is there to finish this boat. Some of the chrome seemed to be redone already, while some could use re-finishing. The rudder is still installed, with the steering rods inside the bilge. Copper exhaust pipe is also included. I attached pictures of all the miscellaneous parts and fittings spread out on the floor. It has a new spotlight installed, comes with a new blower and bilge pump (both still in box), rolls of electrical wire (and a wiring diagram drawn by the gentleman previously working on it), blueprints of the boat, new flag pole, 2 captains seats, rough convertible cover, etc. etc. See the pictures for everything included. The only thing not included is an engine, prop, or trailer. I used another trailer from one of my 26 footers to have this thing picked up, so I do not have a trailer to offer with it. The boat came without the engine or prop, but I have some spare MCL's (needs to be rebuilt) that I can offer with the boat if interested. I can offer any additional pictures or information to the best of my ability. Don't miss a chance to get a great boat that already has the hard work done to it!

20 Feet 1956 Century Coronado

Sold as a new boat at the Sierra Boat company at Lake Tahoe in 1956. This boat has spent its entire life on Lake Tahoe. Bought by the current owner from Sierra Boat in 1992. Original Chrysler Hemi. This 21 ‘ Century Coronado boat has been very reliable for me over the past 27 years. Has always been on Lake Tahoe. I’m reluctantly selling it to decrease my maintenance burden on a number of fronts. I took the boat down to bare wood in 2006 replacing the bungs and the top decks. At that time Also removed the interior vinyl over plywood panels and milled and installed new mahogany slats on the interior. The dashboard was also plywood with vinyl. I manufactured a new mahogany. In 2006, all of the upholstery was also redone. All of the chrome and instruments and chrome are original as far as I know. The boats bottom was fiberglassed professionally at some point before I bought it in 92. Other than 2006, the boat has been in the lake and buoyed every year I’ve had it. The last 15 years in Rubicon Bay. The gas gauge and clock have never worked since I’ve owned it. I use a dipstick and the clock glass has a crack. It has the original Tonneau roof. It has an automatic mid boat bilge pump and I added a manual bilge pump in the stern to pump when the bow is up and under way to lighten the load. In 2017, the original gas tank finally failed. I had a brand new custom tank manufactured and installed. (I believe either aluminum or stainless, over $1000). It has a 2 battery configuration with a switch dial for on/off/both. I have typically varnished every other year and serviced the engine on the odd years. It has a full canvas cover and is always covered when not in use and has always been garaged in the window. The photographs unfortunately don’t show it with a fresh coat of varnish but rather, the day I pulled it out of the water last fall after a full summer of use. I missed the varnishing this year having been too busy with other projects and traveling. The hull should probably be taken down to bare wood soon. I believe the Chrysler hemi is a 331. It has dual carburetors for high altitude, runs with a deep throaty roar and has never failed to start right up in 27 years. The trailer I got it with was scrapped several years ago and I had a new custom dual axle DHM trailer manufactured for it. I have based the price relative to this hagerty valuation.

26 Feet 1930 Hacker Designed triple cockpit Runabout Built by Hutchinson

1930, 26 ft. Triple Cockpit Runabout, designed by John Hacker and custom-built by Hutchinson Boat Works of Alexandria Bay, NY. The Honduras mahogany deck and side planks are cut book-match so that the grain is mirrored from the king-plank to the covering boards and down the sides. A 5200 new bottom was installed using Hacker’s original design, with double planked Honduras mahogany at 45 degrees on the inner hull and fore to aft on the outer planks. The bottom has new stringers made of vertical grain Douglas fir and new frames, chines, battens, knees and a new keel, forefoot and stem. The hull and decks were stripped to bare wood and newly stained to the original color. The sides and deck are original wood and fastened with the original cooper roves (sides) and bronze screws (deck). The gas tank is new. The original interior gauges were cleaned and refurbished to exact working order. The interior leather, to match the original shade and texture, was replaced. The engine, a 1957 Chrysler Hemi 325 HP was completely rebuilt. The cylinders were re-bored and the rods, etc. were replaced with state of the art equipment. A MSD electronic ignition was installed. Since rebuild the engine has less than 50hrs. The OTHER WOMAN, first named “Kit” is in excellent condition, and has maintained its antique status. She has won many awards, most recently Best Hutchinson and People’s Choice at the Antique Boat Museum’s 52nd Annual Boat Show. She has also been featured in numerous magazine articles and books, including a book by James Barry called “Hackercraft” first published in 2002. Original documentation on this boat is available, including the first registration, early pictures, restoration work pictures, engine re-built pictures, etc.

29.5 Feet 1928 Hacker Craft Company Dolphin Deluxe

1928 29' 6" HACKER CRAFT CO Dolphin Deluxe. There are runabouts, and there are Hackers. No other wooden boat builders have enjoyed over a century of acclaim and accomplishment, as have the American craftsmen at Hacker Boat Company. For generations, Hacker Craft mahogany runabouts have ruled the waterways from Lake Tahoe to Long Island Sound. GAD-A-BOUT is an immaculate, triple-cockpit representation of the gilded era of wooden boats, when massive gas engines were squeezed into luxurious speedboats to thrill the elite - royalty, titans of industry, and Hollywood celebrities - with speed and exhilaration. The sleek mahogany speedsters were introduced into a world of recreational boating that up and to then had been a staid, slow-paced world of rowing boats, steam-powered launches, and spartan sailing craft. Boating was never to be the same. With the gleaming, varnished mahogany, the nickel chrome hardware, and the plush, multiple seating areas these double and triple cockpit runabouts transformed the pleasure boating market, and numerous builders sprung up to sate the nation's quest for speed and performance. Renowned names like Dodge, Chris Craft, Gar Wood began building runabouts, often as a result of speedboat racing success, but none ever reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship and perfection that John Hacker did. To possess a luxury item from a storied era nearly a century ago, in this high level of condition, is a rare opportunity. Stutz Bearcat motorcars, Piaget watches, Erte paintings, Frank Lloyd Wright homes, Hacker runabouts - all conjure up memories and images of the best artisans a time period, long-passed, had to offer. One does not merely possess such priceless artifacts, one serves in stewardship for the next generation to treasure and enjoy. GAD-A-BOUT is turn-key, and ready to cut a wake and turn heads wherever her next dock and waterway await her.
